Update - 6/8/09

After 100 years of past performance handicapping....

what has been learned??

The overbet favorite wins 30% of the time, and the average payoff is still around 4-1. Seems like it was about the same deal in 1950. If past performance handicapping is "the way".... shouldn't there be some improvement? And shouldn't you know when the favorite will win?

CDwinnerscircle320.jpg (12645 bytes)If you want to win at playing the horses, study horse racing, not handicapping.

If you study horse racing, you will learn about the factors that create the results, not the "form" angles that may or may not mean something some of the time.

The school of handicapping has many 40 year students that still don't know what wins the race, more often then not.

With that in mind, I invite you to attend the school of horse racing at the track of your choice. With HorsePlayerU, and Ability-X ratings.

If you are in a hurry to get 20 years of experience in 1 weeks time, I will come to your track for one week of personal training.... it covers a lot of ground...

fast... cost is only $1,500.

It is the easiest way to learn... how to win!

You will learn more about how horses win races in 7 days, then you could by reading a roomful of books on handicapping. You will also see how Ability-X ratings will point out the best wagering decisions to you day after day.

See what you've been missing at all tracks, while you learn what wins races at your home track. It is the same things at all tracks.

After you do, you won't be able to play without Ability-X ratings. Because Ability-X ratings give you all the information you need, and it just doesn't show up well in past performances.

2008 has been a rewarding opportunity to work with Ability-X ratings for horses and tracks all over the country. Throughout the year, I have been focused on winning and win betting. Practicing conservatism, that is still proven as the best approach for win betting in this game. But, I have opened it up somewhat in the last several months on serial win bets, Doubles, Pick - 3, 4 and 6. Results have been good.

Follow that link to see the Ability-X rating for Big Brown going into the 2008 Kentucky Derby. Check his rating going into the Fla Derby too.

And, don't stop there, check out the whole Derby day card.

While conservatism still reigns, as it always has, as the best approach to win betting, the most rewarding application for Ability-X ratings is in identifying the live group in all classes. I have been demonstrating this with serial win exotics at GP in the closing weeks of 2008, and then at Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Saratoga, Arlington Park, Belmont, Delmar, Hollywood Park, and Turfway.

6/1/2009 - Ability-X Ratings are no longer available for general subscription, but they are the backbone of my incredible TrackSideEye service on Twitter.

Check a recent workout from several tracks, Arlington Park is our July track.

For a change, you will get the results that you expect, a HorsePlayer education.

Had enough of book reading and number crunching, while you still have the same problems becoming a consistent winner at the track?

Check the Ability-X chart at left for this year's Kentucky Derby, the ratings spell out a huge superfecta with uncanny consistency.

Check the results for Ability-X ratings, and Exacta Magic W/ Ability-X.

You will experience every situation that thoroughbred racing has to offer, and learn from all of them. And, more then that, you will learn how to deal with every situation, as a winning horseplayer.....
